Alpha runs on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm starting October 1st at Peace Portal Church.

Alpha is for anyone who’s curious about faith, purpose, and the person of Jesus—especially those who don’t usually go to church or are exploring what they believe.
It’s forskeptics, seekers, those just starting to follow Jesus, and those who’ve stepped away from faith and want to reconnect. No matter your background or beliefs, everyone is welcome at Alpha!

Alpha is a fun and casual dinner party with new friends. The night begins with a free meal shared around the table, followed by a 25-minute video exploring some of life’s big questions about purpose, faith, and the person of Jesus. After the video, there’s time for open conversation: a chance to hear different perspectives and share your own, if you’d like. You’re free to speak or simply listen. There’s no pressure.

Alpha is designed to be a relaxed, no-pressure experience.

If you decide it’s not for you, there’s no obligation to come back—and we won’t follow up unless you’ve asked us to through your group host.

Since Alpha is especially designed for people who are exploring faith, the best way to be involved as a Christian is to serve on the Alpha team or invite someone who’s curious!
