The Wonder of Parenting Through the Stages explores the beauty, challenges, and purpose of parenting from infancy through adulthood. Grounded in Christian principles and Scripture, this session encourages parents to see each stage of their child’s life as part of God’s design—an opportunity to nurture faith, character, and strong relationships while growing in grace together.
Dawna-Lyn Broadhead
Drawing on almost four decades of experience, Dawna-Lyn provides counsel to all ages, teach parenting classes, working with parents as they navigate challenges with their children, walking alongside those that are hurting, going through diagnoses, or guiding in the unknown. This includes speaking at workshops, retreats, and other events as well as meeting with people one-on-one, guiding them through life issues - relationship challenges, divorce, illness, big decisions, and loss.
She relies on God, asking Him for wisdom and discernment in each situation while also drawing from her experience walking hundreds of people through a myriad of issues - offering a listening ear, Biblical perspective, a lot of common sense, and comfort - all towards making a plan to move forward.
She enjoys time with family, cycling, reading, and any time at the beach.
Dawna Lyn lives in the Vancouver, BC area of Canada with her husband, John. They have been married since 1985 and have two married daughters and six grandchildren.
