The Wonder of Teen Girls
with Lindsay Sealey
The Wonder of Teen Girls explores Super Girl Syndrome: a common experience for growing girls today who are feeling the pressure to be pretty, productive, polished, and perfect. Girls are trying to keep up, fit in, and achieve and accomplish. Yet they are feeling overwhelmed, stressed out, and tired. Super Girl Syndrome is taking its toll on girls’ mental health and well-being.
If you are raising a teen girl this practical workshop is designed to help parents and caregivers better understand their teen’s world, how to meet her where she’s at and show up for her, and how to promote her confidence, resilience, and self-worth!
Together, we will explore:
Super Girl Syndrome and the pressures girls are facing.
How to talk to her about her hidden signs of stress like perfectionism, over-achievement, and emotional burnout.
Strategies and support tools to anchor her in her strengths and her true identity.
How to provide a safe space for emotional exploration so teens feel seen, heard, and valued.
How to free her from the pressures to prove herself, be perfect, and please people.
This workshop offers you the information and research, the practical tools, ideas, and the conversation starters you need to better connect with and love your teenage girl!
