Krista Penner
Krista's heart beats for developing the next generation of church leaders, and she pours this passion into her work serving Fellowship Pacific churches through Next-Gen Leader Development and Special Projects. With deep care and expertise, she walks alongside emerging leaders and pastors through Immerse, an innovative in-church leadership education program. This contextualized, theologically grounded initiative offers both a Master of Arts in Biblical Leadership and a Master of Divinity in partnership with Northwest Seminary.
What truly energizes Krista is partnering with churches to nurture and develop young leaders—especially women stepping into their calling. She is committed to encouraging women in leadership, believing deeply in their unique gifts and the vital role they play in advancing God's kingdom. Krista finds great joy in casting vision and connecting Fellowship Pacific churches with transformative opportunities, from peer-to-peer mentoring relationships to leadership development experiences like EQ Boot Camp and coaching. She desires to see all up-and-coming leaders flourish in their gifts while helping churches across British Columbia create lasting gospel impact throughout Canada.
Krista and her husband Jerome live in Mission, BC, where they are active members of Ridge Church in Maple Ridge. When she's not traveling to connect with churches and encourage leaders, you'll often find Krista in her kitchen—her favorite place to show love—preparing meals to share with friends and family. She treasures her role as wife and mother to three wonderful adult children and their spouses, but her newest and most beloved title is "Nana" to three precious grandchildren who fill her days with laughter and her heart with immeasurable joy.
